FRIDAY, APRIL 20
The Chronic Live! – A live band recreation of Dr. Dre’s debut album, The Chronic. The show will feature Smokers World (led by Soul Brass Band drummer Derrick Freeman), with special guests, Juvenile, Partners-N-Crime w/ DJ Raj Smoove, and more at the Joy Theater. 8P.
The Tipping Point – Good Music. Good People. Good Vibes. All going down for free at the Dragon’s Den. 10P.
2001 The Party – If you know like I know, (aside from the 90s) the 2000s were the jam. If you’re feeling nostalgic, head over to Bar Culture to reminisce over the old times as DJ Ally Bea spins hits from back in the day. 9P.
Curren$y’s 420 Celebration – Rapper Curren$y will be celebrating his favorite highliday at House of Blues New Orleans.I mean, who else would you rather spend 4/20 with? 10P.
SATURDAY, APRIL 21
Get Up N Ride Community Bike Fest – It’s the biggest bicycle party of the year. Taking place at 2520 Bayou Rd. from 4 – 8P, the fest will feature local music by Tonya Boyd Cannon. Allie Baby, Mia Borders, O.G. Blake Owens, and more. Festival goers can enter their bike into a contest for a chance to win prizes. But note that you don’t need a bike to attend the bike fest.
